My loves

I wanted to get some pictures of my 2 babies together so tonight I took a few snaps of them playing on the floor. I dont really get to photograph Landyn much because he is silly and his eyes always water so I thought it was cute he was trying to tickle her I didnt have to worry about getting him to look.

Busy house !!

My days are usually busy with taking care of kids and dogs. Well I have just added a new puppy to the clam as picture in other post, and she likes to get into stuff. We were doing the bedtime story for Landyn last night and I had to bring her out to potty well she decided she didnt want to potty but she wanted to mess with stuff :)  My little Pippa gettin into mischief.

Our saturday looked like this. We had to go to town to take Landyn to his gymnastics class and it was not a pleasant drive. The ice fog was horrible so that made the visibility horrible. We made it though! Here is what the sun looks like trying to shine through all the ice fog.

Our new addition

I finally found her :) I have been looking the perfect dapple dachshund and I found her :) Today we got to bring her home, of course the other doggies were not to happy about it but I snapped this picture of her laying beside Titian he is huge compared to her. Her name is Pippa!

We have a little snow piling up right above our front door, because when the dryer  is on the air from the vent blows the snow around. It looks pretty cool you can see all the little flakes:) I wanted to try some more B&W conversions

Focus Pin Point

So I find something new on my camera all the time:) I have been struggling with the focus and still have some trouble well I found spot meter for auto focus on my camra and I finally got a good in focus picture of my girl.. Learning new things everyday !!!

Dancing in the Sky

I had an amazing night. I waited up to photograph the Northern Lights since this was the first time in a few weeks that they have been out. I would have gotten better pictures if I had gone up the road maybe I will do that tonight. I saw a shooting star and it was beautiful, but of course the camera was busy at the time :) /today you pick your favorite that that will be picture 21 of 365

I have recently gained a new love for spinach. Today I was busy and didnt really have time to get  picture of my kiddos, but I did snap this picture of my breakfast it was so yummy. Egg and spinach wrap, with turkey sausage.

Faster shutter and RAW

So I finally decided to try shooting in RAW to see hoe it helps editting. Its awesome!!! I also wanted to try with a faster shutter speed since I usually have such a slow shutter because of dark house, but I needed a fast shutter with the baby. I think it turned out pretty good :) I gave my girl her frozen teether SHE LOVED IT!!!

Beautiful Baby

Now that my princess is learning to sit up I wanted to get some new pictures, She let me get a great one of her on her belly. She doesnt like to lay that way so I was excited to get this stunning picture of her.

Snuggle Buddies

Our dog are spoiled we have established this in our home! As we were watching a movie last night, Landyn was getting cozy with his blanket and pillow,and  as soon as the pups saw what he had they were ready to snuggle. The only problem they kept running him right off the pillow and laying on the blankets:)

I didnt really have a idea for todays picture but I got a great one. My sweet girl loves to eat and she thinks she can have everything we have. Her daddy was eating an apple and she just decided she was going to try to sneak a bite. Although her plan didnt go so well she just kept doing it :)

Today I wanted to take a picture of my litle buddy. He started his second gymnastics class today and he did great.  He really is figuring the balance thing out!! Oh and there is a share of my sweet girl. Well I think I will have to have 2 pictures today :)

~~Dark Morning ~~

Today I got my picture early. As I was getting Landyn ready to cach the bus I noticed how pretty the moon looked and there is one lone star still hanging out. This was 8:30 in morning at -30 outside so I snappd my picture and hurried back to the warmth!

In with the old

Ok so I didnt really take this picture today but I did take it. I had a very eventful day so I decided to find the pictures from Canada. I have over 200 hundred pictures from that trip but this one is by far my favorite. I didnt get a great picture because it was -50 out and we were driving down the road so I wanted to try to fix it a little here is what I got!

In Focus !!!

Today I tried to get in focus on all my pictures I tried to take pictures of the piano keys but that wasnt working well so I played around with oranges and some of my plants. The focus was great for all these I wanted to focus on the waterdrops and it worked.

I got up this morning  set all my lights and backdrop up to do sissy's pictures and then she gets sleepy. I have to use her roon for my set right now so I had to work my way around all the photography gear to put her in her bed. I let her sleep for a few mins then I tried to sneak her in the basket since taking her pictures is easier when she is sleeping.... it didt work out so great:) But even though she woke up I got some great pictures, and since she was awake I go that beautiful smile

I finally finished my fringe blanket, which is the first thing I have ever knitted. It turned out looking pretty nice. Im going to take sissy's pictures with it tomorrow I hope. Maybe soon I will have a newborn to photograph.

So today was the first day of my new diet, that I hopefully stick to. Time to lose the baby weight :) I thought it would be terrible but today I had delicious food and didnt starve :) I made these delicious kabobs for dinner.. oh and a side of sweet potatoes.. sooo good.

***Beautiful Day ***

Today was a great day of course, I had my kiddos and my love came home. We had to do our big grocery shopping trip always fun :) I got my picture for today while we were leaving Wal-Mart the sky was beautiful I look over wlamart and the flag is surrounded by grey  and pink clouds. I have to say I think the sunrises and sunsets all all in between has to be my favorite part about living in Alaska. Most days when the sky is cloudy or overcast it will clear up just for a bit to show the colors of the sky.
